Recipe: Cheese Rice

Today I’m bringing another recipe from The International Cheese Recipe Book. Enjoy!

Cheese Rice

1 cup grated Cheshire cheese

1 cup milk

water

1 cup rice

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 stick butter

dash of salt

dash of black pepper

Cook rice in water for 17 minutes and drain. Pour in the milk and cook for the remaining 10-12 minutes. In a buttered baking dish, lay down layers of rice, butter dollops, salt, pepper and cheese. Cover the top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes.
